Can swapping navel piercing jewelry without sterilizing cause AIDS?
Me and my friend traded bellybutton rings after 4 months of having it pierced. Hers is completely healed and mines still not as healed. We didn't sterilize the rings, but we didn't keep the rings in we just tried each others on. Another friend told me that this was a very stupid idea and can cause AIDS, it this true? and if it does, i dont understand how?

And even if SHE had an HIV infection, her piercing is healed, her skin is intact. No way for infected blood to GET on the ring in the first place. AND one of you would have to be HIV infected for this to even be an issue. Tell your other friend that.
