How to store your green jade

The following ways are just some methods you can use to store your charming green jade.
First. The more you wear the green jade, the better brilliant color it will show, because green jade's charm is its pure character which is shown by the water content, when worn, it will absorb the water from your body, so it will become more bright when worn long, another reason is that when the green jade worn, it will inevitable rub skin or clothes, which has the role of brighting the green jade.
Routine maintenance, just wash with water, remove the dust, then clean and dry it with cloth. Wearring jade pendant, you should pay attention to checking the string and necklace to be sure they are firm, if found nearly broken, just change new one in time.
Second. The Jade has a strong toughness, but it does not mean it can stand beating. In wearing green jade, try to avoid it from falling or hit by hard objects, especially those with small cracks in the green jade, it will easily break or damage.

Where is the best place to purchase 16mm jade beads dyed in different colors online?
I am trying to make these Martha Steward beaded/silk ribbon necklaces (http://www.marthastewart.com/article/jade-beaded-necklace-with-ribbon?comments_page=1) and have found all the materials except the beads - as Martha suggests I purchase them from a store in NY, but I live in DC.
