What Are Captive Bead Rings?

How do I move from a 16g to 14g eyebrow ring?
I just bought some eyebrow rings from a vender in Ybor, and didn't think to check the size. The bars are too big, and I was wondering what to do to make them fit?
The only thing I know of is to suffer through the pain and stick it in. That's what I had to do with my lip ring. But if I were you, I'd go to the piercer and ask them.
